The Nolan County Sheriff's Office maintains a Sex Offender Registration program that is utilized to register all sex offenders that reside in the rural areas of Nolan County. The program also assures that all registered sex offenders are current with their registration, and in full compliance with the Texas Department of Public Safety Sex Offender Registration Program and with the Texas Code of Criminal Procedure, Chapter 62.

The data collected from Sex Offenders registered with the Sheriff's Office is promptly forwarded to the Texas Department of Public Safety and will be listed on their web site. Persons living within the incorporated limits of a city in Nolan County should also check with their local Police Departments to determine if Sex Offenders live in their area.

Offenders registered in Nolan County are linked to the Texas Department of Public Safety and may be searched by accessing the Sex Offender Registry web site. If you know of anyone that is not in this database and is a registered sex offender residing in a rural area of Nolan County, you are encouraged to contact the Sheriff's Office at 325.235.5471 or click here to submit information.

Did You Know?

Persons that reside in the unincorporated areas of Nolan County required by court order to register as a sex offender must contact this office, Monday through Friday - 8am to 5pm, by calling 325.235.5471 to schedule an appointment. Failure to comply with registration as ordered may result in additional criminal charges being filed.
